We run initiatives for all age groups and audiences, creating spaces for cultural exchange, community support and solidarity with Ukraine.
Borshch Time: Ukraine on a Plate is a monthly Ukrainian charity lunch series that has been taking place in the heart of Cambridge since March 2025. It’s more than just a meal — it’s shared warmth, cultural exchange, a taste of home for Ukrainians and a window into Ukrainian culture for others.
It’s a space for connection, mutual support and doing good together.
This series is our way of sharing hospitality and gratitude for the UK’s support of Ukrainians while also raising funds for those saving lives in Ukraine — Hospitallers — Ukrainian volunteer paramedics saving the lives of civilians and soldiers on the frontline.
What we’ve achieved so far:
Around 500 guests in just 6 months
Nearly £7,000 raised in support of Hospitallers
All proceeds (after basic costs) go directly to the Hospitallers.
