Our Projects
We run initiatives for all age groups and audiences:
YOUkraine Teens in Cambridge – a weekly youth club that provides Ukrainian teenagers with a safe, inspiring space for learning, friendship, and support.

Borshch Time – monthly fundraising lunches that bring together people of all ages, introduce Ukrainian traditions through food, and raise funds for humanitarian aid.

Cultural & Educational Events – including concerts, film screenings, and lectures on Ukrainian culture, history, and language.
Children’s Activities – programmes supporting younger children’s socialisation and physical activity (e.g. climbing courses).
Over 100 families have come to Cambridgeshire thanks to visa advice and support from Cambridge4Ukraine;
We helped researchers from Ukraine find housing and shelter in the UK via collaboration with Cambridge University (Ukrainian Academic Support Scheme);
We have established cooperation with city, regional and local councils organizations in Cambridgeshire;
Cambridge4Ukraine became part of the UK-wide network of Ukrainian organizations Ukraine Hub UK;
We have issued over a 100 "welcome packs" (food, hygiene, clothes supplies) to those who have been forced to move from Ukraine to Cambridgeshire;
We provided emergency assistance to people from the refugee community (flight tickets to Britain, a short-term hostel in emergency situations, support for people from disability);
We started the tradition of Ukrainian meetings every Saturday for Ukrainian community in Cambridge;
We were active in the media, making refugees' voices heard, especially in the first months of a full scale invasion;
We organised English language classes run by volunteers for those who were forced to move from Ukraine to Cambridgeshire;
We created a newsletter that is received by about 500 people in the region;
We provided employment support through individual consultations, information events and a list of vacancies;
We conducted educational events in cooperation with the city council on social issues housing, employment and accommodation in the region;
We organised a support club for entrepreneurs from Ukraine (CEO Club);
We created a "Mriya" Saturday Ukrainian community educational project for children;
We organised cultural events in Cambridge to create a positive image of Ukraine in Great Britain.
Cambridge City Council grant (2023) to cover the cost of the 'welcome packs' for refugees.
