Maryna Povkh — Youth Programme Lead
Maryna coordinates and manages all aspects of the programme: from planning and logistics to working directly with teenagers. Her approach is based on empathy, mutual respect, and support for young people’s mental health. She also focuses on developing leadership skills, fostering positive identity, and engaging parents in the life of the programme. With over 15 years of entrepreneurial experience and as a mother of two, Maryna combines strong organisational skills with a deep understanding of teenagers’ needs.
Yaryna Yemets
Yaryna ensures the creative and strategic development of YOUkraine Teens in Cambridge, shaping the programme’s concept, methodology, and communication style. She builds partnerships, engages with parents to include their perspective, and supports the team in visual and communication aspects. She also involves teenagers in real charity projects, linking the youth programme with the wider community.
10+ volunteers, including 5 active parents supported the project by helping with events, logistics, and creating a welcoming environment.
